How many calories should I remove from my daily caloric intake if I wanted to lose 15 lbs in the next 20 weeks?
15 lbs x 3,500 = X
X divided by 20 weeks = X
X divided by 7 days/week = you calorie per day deficit.
X divided by 20 weeks = X
X divided by 7 days/week = you calorie per day deficit.
Now that you know how many calories to remove from your diet, start scrutinizing what your eating and eliminate the unnecessary calories!
Take note, it is unrealistic to lose more than 1 - 2 lbs a week. If you are losing weight correctly, 1 - 2 lbs per week should be your average. If you are averaging weight loss than his per week, it is time to re-evaluate what you are eating. Something is not quite right.
